Bike ride
to promote sustainable development on 2 October 2022 at 9:00 hrs. in Almaty
 
Start and finish:
at the MEGA Center Alma-Ata shopping center on Rozybakiev street. The ride consists of 1 lap, total distance: 15 km.
Warming up: 30 minutes before the start at the starting point.
 
Bicycles (of any kind)
should be in good condition and motorless.
If you don't have a bike, you can rent one.

Registration:
from NOW until 30 September 2022, 17:00 hrs. or until the maximum number of participants (1000) is reached.
Minimum age of 16+ (at the date of the ride).
 
QR code and lottery
Participation in the ride and in the prize draw is only possible after registration on this webpage. You will receive a personal QR code by e-mail. You must present this

QR code on the spot before the start of the ride.

We ask all participants to arrive at the starting point 30 minutes before the start of the bike ride to confirm registration and warm up. 

After the end of the bicycle ride, there will be a panel discussionnear the finish area for all interested participants. The panel will focus on cycling infrastructure and related topics.

Furthermore, limited (physical) copies of the book “Best Practices. Dutch Cycling” by Dutch Cycling Embassy in three languages will be distributed among the participants. Experts from Urban Forum Kazakhstan, the Netherlands and others will join the discussion.
